In 2018 a wonderful book ” The Art of Feminism” was published and burst upon the art world. Sumptuously illustrated and elegantly written the book details the history of the images that shaped the fight for equality. The Consulting Editor of this academic achievement is Professor Helena Reckitt, Reader in Curating at Goldsmiths, University of London. Over the years her career as curator and teacher has taken her word wide from USA and Canada to New Zealand where she was the Clark Collection Critic and Curator at the University of Victoria, Wellington. She will be ably supported  in the delivery of the lecture by  Dr Amy Tobin author and contributor to the book, Faculty Lecturer in the History of Art, University of Cambridge and Curator at Kettle’s Yard her research looks at the feminist-influenced art. In 2017 she completed her PhD on art and feminism at the University of York.
