Content: In 1948, Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant collaboratively produced a folio titled Six Lithographs at Millers Press, Lewes, Sussex, to which each artist contributed three works. The press was established by Frances Byng-Stamper, the donor of acquisitions 68 and 69, and her sister Caroline Byng-Lucas, to promote and revitalise lithography within contemporary art.The three Bell lithographs Child with a Book, Child with Flowers, and Roses are included in the catalogue Into the Light: CASW gifts to Cyfarthfa Castle published by Crooked Window in association with CASW, 2015.The catalogue can be purchased at Cyfarthfa Castle Museum and Art Gallery or online from Crooked Window.
