Content: This installation brings together traditional and cutting-edge audio technology with creative interpretation to produce snatches of lost sounds, encouraging interaction and immersion through sound and touch. Jobina Tinnemans manipulates sound to interpret whispers from the past: echoes of textile looms and artisans are re-imagined alongside the artefacts, voice and vision of local inventor Stanley Lewis, who ran a radio shop in Narberth in the 1940-50s (his archive is held at Narberth Museum). This work also anticipates its own progression over time from contemporary artwork to historical artefact.
