Notes: Kevin Sinnott had hoped to produce a linocut but Chris Nurse, Head of Printmaking at the University of Glamorgan, where the print was produced, insisted on a woodcut. Kevin's blistered hands testified to the hard won image. The figure flies away on the updraughts of the Garw valley, travelling more in hope than expectation. Kevin had in mind poster prints from the 60s, and the 'flag' design of the print evokes a revolutionary fervour.
