Notes: Sonja spent her early years in St Ives, which helped to inspire her subsequent artistic development. Aftermoving to rural North Wales in 1993, and being profoundly influenced by her surroundings, she began experimenting with line and colour, using a layering technique to produce depth of interest and a feeling of emanating light. She has works in numerous public collections in the USA, Canada and Europe.
