Notes: Born Kathleen Margaret Godfrey-Faussett-Osborne, she studied under Graham Sutherland at the Chelsea College of Art. Kathleen, known as 'Kit', married artist Edward Morland Lewis in 1940. She became a member of the London Group in 1948 and in 1953, the Leicester Galleries, London held the first solo exhibition of her work.
